At Grub Media, we want to delve into the gritty details of food and the cooking lifestyle. In popular media, this subject matter is all-too-often directed to the home cook. Here, we will be writing for hospitality industry newcomers and professionals, but we hope that our ramblings can be enjoyed by all.
Rather than simply writing about restaurants that we've eaten at, as many do, we hope to become a helpful resource for good ingredient sourcing, recipe analysis and creation as well as general information and food history. We plan to discuss topics like mental health in chefs and cooks, which we feel are often ignored in popular media.
We are career chefs based in Toronto, Ontario. Cooking professionally can be a daunting and draining, but somehow also incredibly fulfilling, path to follow. We'd like to use our experience to become a resource for you and as we continue to learn and experience more, we plan to share it all here at Grub!
